About Me

I am currently a postdoc at the University of Oregon working in the TEEL Lab with Dr. Melissa Lucash. I completed my PhD at the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management at the University of California, Santa Barbara in June 2025.  Prior to coming to UCSB, I spent three years working in the private, public, and non-profit sectors, including the National Park Service in Crater Lake, Oregon and environmental consulting in Sacramento, California. In 2016, I graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor of Science in environmental science and management. I'm passionate about science-informed management and improving the resiliency of California ecosystems, especially with regard to wildfire and ongoing climate change.​
